The Enneagram is one of the most profound and practical systems available for increasing emotional intelligence that can, in turn, be used for personal and professional development.

Harvard Business School acknowledges that leadership starts with self- awareness. Self-awareness shines a light on the unconscious habits, the cognitive dissonances that may arise when the way forward is unclear, so stress is triggered. A team with inspiring goals can meet them more productively by removing barriers to reaching shared outcomes.

Benefits of understanding our Enneagram type

In our professional lives, understanding our Enneagram type can make us more productive, grounded, and versatile team members and leaders. Korn Ferry Hay Group research found that among leaders with multiple strengths in Emotional Self-Awareness, 92% had teams with high energy and high performance. Determining your type and coming to appreciate and understand some of your knee- jerk reactions in and to life can be liberating, humorous—and yes, sometimes painful. This system is most effective with consistent and curious exploration. Through reading and researching your type, your developmental edges, and the motivations behind your actions, you can quickly identify the Enneagram’s relevance and applicability to your daily life.

Build Effective Strategies

Studies show that learning stress reduction skills has an immediate effect on reducing physical tension. Self-Observation is easy for anyone to learn and is the most effective stress- reduction when coupled with a breath practice that relaxes the three centers of awareness: somatic, emotional, and cognitive. The practice of self-observation fosters sustainable shifts in resilience and the capacity to stay in contact with direct experience. The training is designed to integrate stress reduction with self-awareness, the optimal approach to helping mission-driven individuals and teams work together with focus, direction, connection, empathy, understanding, impact, and happiness.

Jorja is always happy to consider speaking to groups and work out pricing on a case-by-case basis.

“Over the past few years our teaching community has become familiar with the Enneagram as a path that encourages self- knowledge, self-respect, and insight into learning how to ‘author our own lives.’  We found a stellar interpreter of this tool when Jorja White was introduced to us as an Enneagram Mentor. Jorja’s wise, thoughtful, and attentive ways coupled with her ability to ask the essential questions are nurturing our faculty in exponential ways.  We are beyond grateful for her voice in our work!  Jorja and I have been friends for almost two decades now and it thrills me to be able to recommend her in this capacity.  I have seen first hand how these themes have informed and enhanced her own life.  Jorja lives what she knows.”
